Mansonix works across technologies and domains because the starting point is a problem — not a predetermined product, platform or industry.
Different projects reach for different tools, but the reasoning behind them stays the same: understand the problem first, then engineer a solution that addresses it. This is how Mansonix approaches the work.
How Mansonix thinks
A purpose-built technical product solving an operational or economic problem
Technology is a toolbox, not a starting position. Depending on the challenge, the right solution may involve software, sensing, imaging, edge computing, hardware, data, communications, automation, AI — or the combinations of these that actually fit the problem.
These are examples, not boundaries. The work is defined by what a problem needs, so the tools follow the problem rather than the other way around.
Build for independence
Understand, engineer, build, verify, transfer
Commissioned work is developed so the client can continue independently after handover. Mansonix deliberately avoids artificial supplier lock-in.
At handover, the agreed source, documentation and project deliverables are transferred, so you can continue internally or with a partner of your choice. Further Mansonix involvement is separate, and only when mutually agreed.

Engineering before hype
Technologies are chosen because they solve the problem
A technology earns its place by doing the job, not by being fashionable. AI, computer vision, peer-to-peer, edge computing and the rest are tools used where they are appropriate.
They are not the identity of the company. The engineering — understanding the problem and building something that holds up — is what stays constant underneath whichever tools a given project calls for.
Learn & experimentation
Exploring and teaching how technologies actually work
Alongside client work, Mansonix explores and teaches technologies: how they work, what can be done with them, how they combine, where their limits are, and what they are practically useful for.
That understanding also feeds experimentation and prototyping. Mansonix may explore hardware, sensing, imaging, communications and other technologies where there is something useful to learn or test. Which experiments become public work, products or learning material is decided separately.
Not one sector
The problems change; the engineering process carries across
Different industries can have very different problems. What transfers between them is the process — understanding, designing, building and verifying a solution that suits the problem in front of it. That is why Mansonix is intentionally not limited to a single sector.
