Technology developed by Mansonix

Some technical problems and opportunities are worth solving once and reusing.

The products below are developed independently by Mansonix, separate from commissioned client work.

  • Nexora

    In development

High-rate industrial data acquisition, storage and playback platform.

Industrial and machine data can arrive continuously and at high rates. Nexora is being developed to capture that data, preserve its history, and make it practical to replay, inspect and analyse what happened over time.

Nexora is being developed for high-volume sensor and machine data, with support for sources such as Modbus, OPC UA and MQTT, lossless capture, efficient storage and fast historical playback.

The same approach can apply wherever equipment or systems produce data that needs to be retained, revisited and understood.

Prototype — the actual application, running on its simulated-data module (in development): acquire, play back, analyse.

Nexora live-data view: a searchable table of live sensor readings showing key, name, value, unit and update time; every row is marked as coming from a simulated source.
PrototypeAcquire — live sensor data. Every row is a simulated source (in development).
Nexora playback view: a time-range selector, speed control and play/step transport with a timeline scrubber, a signal picker for choosing which recorded sensors to replay, and an export control.
PrototypePlay back — replay recorded history with a timeline scrubber, speed control and export. Simulated data (in development).
Nexora reporting view: KPI tiles for average shaft power, speed over ground and main-engine fuel rate; a mode-utilisation breakdown; a per-voyage fuel-rate bar chart; and a two-signal time chart against a target line.
PrototypeAnalyse & report — KPI tiles and charts built from the captured data. Simulated data (in development).
Nexora data-flow architectureData from Modbus, OPC UA and MQTT sources is acquired, then buffered and stored with lossless recording, and from there is available for historical playback and a UI / analysis path. • Peer-to-peer communication application

    In development

A privacy-oriented application being developed around direct device-to-device communication and synchronization. Mansonix infrastructure may assist with rendezvous and discovery, but user payload traffic is not relayed through Mansonix.

Peer-to-peer architectureDevice A and Device B exchange only signalling and discovery with rendezvous.mansonix.com, then communicate over a direct, encrypted device-to-device data path established via same-LAN, IPv6 or NAT traversal. No user payload is relayed through Mansonix. This shows the intended design, not proof of a working deployment.rendezvous.mansonix.comsignalling / discovery onlysignallingsignallingNo user payload relayed through MansonixDevice ADevice BDirect, encrypted device-to-device datasame-LAN · IPv6 · NAT traversalPeer-to-peer architectureDevice A and Device B exchange only signalling and discovery with rendezvous.mansonix.com, then communicate over a direct, encrypted device-to-device data path established via same-LAN, IPv6 or NAT traversal. ArchitectureHow the peer-to-peer design works: Mansonix assists discovery and signalling only, while user data travels directly and encrypted between devices — never relayed through Mansonix.

Why we build

Built because the problem is worth solving

Mansonix products can emerge from a technical challenge, an experiment or an opportunity — wherever a reusable solution earns its place. They are separate from commissioned client work, which is developed for transfer: the agreed source, documentation and deliverables are handed over so a client can continue independently. Independently conceived products like these may remain Mansonix products. They are not limited to a particular industry or technology, and the examples above are a snapshot, not a boundary.
